  Video Troubleshooting

Occasionally course participants encounter problems viewing videos. The most common problem is that a video will "freeze" during playback. If you are experiencing difficulty viewing the course videos, please try the following:

  • Try using a different browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, try using Firefox or Safari.
  • Try using a different computer if one is available.
  • Our content provider utilizes Adobe Flash Media Server to operate with clients using RTMP over TCP. The default port is 1935; if a port is not specified, the client will attempt to connect to ports in the following order: 1935, 443, and then via tunneled RTMP (RTMPT) on port 80. If any of these ports are closed on your network, Flash Media Server streaming may fail. If the videos will not work, you may need to make your network administrator aware of these port requirements.
  • If the the Google Chrome browser is being used and the video screen does not appear, go into the page option on the brwoser and set the "Encoding" option to Auto Detect.

If you are still unable to view the videos, please notify us as tech@ideasunlimitedseminars.com. Please include as much detail as possible. Include the type of computer you are using (e.g. Mac, Dell, etc), the browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, etc) and a detailed description of the problem.
